Grand Hotel

The cleanliness, the tranquility, the attentive staff, and the proximity to the main square with all of its attractions. The decor was superb. A special thank you to Karolina at the front desk for being so kind and helpful, and also to her colleague/supervisor. Marek in the bar/café is also worthy of a mention .... a charming man. The staff at breakfast each morning were always welcoming and polite. We will certainly return to this hotel, probably in Decenber, to experience The Grand once again and the Christmas Markets.

Hotel staff was amazing - very kind and helpful. It was the best service in town! Hotel rooms were also amazing. The hotel is beautiful and has so much history. The hotel staff showed us and explained everything, historical facts etc. It was an amazing experience. It is the best hotel we have stayed at in Krakow and beyond and we are looking forward to be back again :-)

The Grand Hotel is located in the heart of Old Town Krakow, close to the central square, delicious restaurants and museums. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel itself is elegant and its history is fascinating with parts of the hotel dating back to medieval times. Over the centuries it transformed into one of the most renown hotels in Poland. However, what really made our stay exceptional was the fantastic staff. I would especially like to thank Izabela, who was absolutely wonderful. She was so friendly and helpful to us that we hated to leave! I should also mention that she was everywhere, working so hard to make the guests comfortable and taken care of. Carolina (front desk) made our check in easy and right away gave us a map and told us the best places for traditional Polish food (several being just a block away). I would also like to mention how helpful Cyprian Cyra was in notifying me that I had left my laptop power supply in the room. He and the rest of the staff arranged to have it mailed to Warsaw. I can't thank you all enough. I should also mention how friendly the house keeping staff was. I only hope I can return to Krakow and stay at this hotel again.

The staff were fantastic and really friendly and went out of their way to help. Anthony on reception was so lovely, friendly and helpful and is a true asset to the hotel. When we arrived we were upgraded to a fantastic room for no extra cost, because we asked to have a room close to my mother. We were given rooms next door. Anything we asked the staff for or any problems we experienced were rectified in minutes. I can’t say enough about how great they were.
